Sandy Kennedy

Description

Allegory is a non-narrative representation of modern survival, which references Plato's Allegory of the Cave, where he explores the idea that our impressions are received through the senses, and therefore bound by them. Allegory is a journey of regression, reflecting modern Ireland, where the notion of ‘safe home’ is yet again an illusion.
