Beth Fox is a multimedia artist who tells stories through video. Her work consists of personal, often autobiographical essays conveyed through voiceover. She is influenced by the tradition of Irish oral storytelling and uses humour as a device to explore difficult or taboo subjects. The visuals in her videos combine self-shot scenes incorporating handmade props with appropriated footage.
Beth graduated with an MA Fine Art from Central Saint Martins and a BA from Limerick School of Art & Design. Her current research examines the impact of digital technology on everyday life.
