Synopsis
You’ve changed is a short video work featuring a Neolithic stone burial site in the Netherlands. The words “You’ve changed” are repeated and heard in varying tones from inquisitive, shocked and angry.
You’ve Changed was made for ‘Time Capsules and Nervous Systems’ which resulted from the ‘Collision Project’ residency curated by ‘Screen Service’ a online platform for Irish artists making screen based work.
Concept & Technique
Video was shot on mini DV and dubbed by an actor. The video playfully calls into focus how historical and personal narratives are intertwined and continually being re-negotiated through time, memory and representation.
