Description
Cracks is a glimpse into an unknown place and time; a woman evidently stuck in the past. She can’t seem to focus and keeps getting distracted by the next thing until she finds another crack, a sign of the disarray within the broken home she inhabits. Her frustration and eagerness to hide the crack only contradict all that is happening around her. Passing between reality and a dream-like state to offer a snapshot of this woman’s existence, the disjointed nature of the film aims to create an unsettling feeling in the viewer as artist Caitríona Ní Threasaigh brings us on a frenzied journey down into the cracks.
